A shooting in a Florida ‘teen’ nightclub left two teenagers dead and 16 more injured after shooters ranged bullets to the public as parents picked up their kids. Authorities already have three suspects detained, and the motive remains unknown. A Florida club called Club Blu Bar and Grill, was hosting a “Swimsuit Glow Party” for teens between 12-years old and 17-years old.
Around 12:00 a.m., parents were about to pick up their kids when the shooting occurred. Authorities arrived at the scene to find victims with several shot wounds, which were described as minor to severe, one teenager had already died at the scene. Others were quickly transported to the Lee Memorial Hospital and other facilities.
“Upon arrival, officers located several victims suffering from gunshots wounds. Injuries ranged from minor to life threatening. the scene is still very active as investigators and crime scene personnel attempt to determine what had occurred,” said the Fort Myers Police Department in a published statement.
The club issued a statement on its Facebook page addressing the happening, assuring the club just wanted to give a safe place for teenagers to enjoy themselves.

The Florida community was shocked after the incident, and authorities identified the first deceased victim as Sean Achilles, who was 14 years old and Stefan Strawder, who was 18-years old.
Other victims are as young as 12 years old, presenting gun-shot wounds in legs and another body parts. Some of the victims remain in intensive care units, given the severity of their condition. After the shooting, three suspects left the scene in a car, later on, two of the suspects left the car. As reported by a WBBH journalist.

When arriving at the scene, authorities cleaned the location looking for suspects and possible leads. Victims were shocked, as well as employees from the nightclub who tried to help the teenagers take cover
Authorities found victims of the shooters five blocks away from where the nightclub was located. According to preliminary investigations, three shootings were related to the same suspects nearby the club. The motive for the shooting remains unknown and authorities are currently investigating and questioning the three subjects on detention.
