After the impressive acceptance the Nintendo Switch has had within the public, Nintendo has announced around 20 new games to add to its robust library. According to a new Nindies Showcase video, impressive indie games from franchises as Team Meat, Yacht Club Games, and Suda51 will join the diversity of games available to play on the newest Nintendo’s console.
On Wednesday, a Nindies Summer Showcase was streamed on Youtube to announce 20 new games that are expected to be released in the following months – the majority at the beginning of 2018. It included many surprise announcements, but the brand-new No More Heroes game definitely took the prize for more-expected within the reviewers. The complete list of the indie games for the Switch is now published on Nintendo’s website.
Nindies said on February, a week before the Switch was launched, that it would only announce indie titles from celebrated developers, like Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment, Shakedown: Hawaii, Mr. Shifty, Fast RMX, Snake Pass, Celeste, Blaster Master Zero, Flipping Dead, Graceful Explosion Machine, SteamWorld Dig 2, Wargroove and more.
Due to the tremendous variety of titles, the broadcast was very expected for many people of all countries. It began today at 10 am PT, 1 pm ET, and 6 pm BST; it lasted for around an hour. Reviewers expect Nintendo Switch will end the Wii U’s entire life cycle due to its design, which let gamers play using the docking station or the tablet computer.
Along with it, Nintendo will celebrate the announcement at PAX West this weekend. Later on the same day, the Japanese company will bring back the Nindies@Night, where people will be able to try the newest games. The free event will take place on Aug. 31 from 8:30 p.m. to midnight PT, in the Museum of Pop Culture, Seattle. The event will be live streamed here.
For the public in the capital, the Washington State Convention Center during PAX West will also be open to letting them try the same upcoming titles at the Nindies Arcade on the third floor, room 3B, but only noon-9 p.m. PT from September 1 to 3, and noon-6 p.m. PT on September 4.

One of the most expected game is Super Meat Boy Forever from Team Meat, which is a sequel to the original game. Now, gamers will be able once again to play it in the same 2D platforming, but more incredibly. It will be launched for Nintendo Switch in 2018.
Another very expected game is Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, from Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture. It’s about a fan of video games and anime named Travis Touchdown, who fights punk-rock bosses of different levels with a katana, only to get the higher rank between assassins in the city. Of course, he has to avoid to be killed. Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes will also be launched in 2018.
