In recent developments, the Taco Bell franchise introduced a $1 breakfast menu containing 10 items to offer. The new menu will be available on franchises Thursday across the United States and will comprehend hours from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

However, as Americans have previously shown their appetite for all-day-long breakfast menus, proven by the McDonald’s all-day breakfast menu, it’s only a matter of time before Taco Bell follows its steps. The new 10-item Morning Value Menu includes three brand new items as well as some of the classics.

The Morning Value Menu

The new items feature a Mini Skillet Bowl, a Breakfast Soft Taco and a Sausage Flatbread Quesadilla. Although they sound delicious, customers will tell if the franchise really focused on satisfying its clientele. The Mini Skillet Bowl consists of a breakfast bowl with scrambled eggs, potatoes, cheese and the famous Pico de Gallo, which is a mixture of tomatoes, onions, celery and cilantro.

The Mini Skillet Bowl consists of a breakfast bowl with scrambled eggs, potatoes, cheese and the famous Pico de Gallo, which is a mixture of tomatoes, onions, celery and cilantro.

On the other hand, the Sausage Flatbread Quesadilla is grilled flatbread featuring three different types of cheese, sausage and scrambled eggs. While the Breakfast Soft taco is filled with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese and a choice of bacon or sausage.

Why did Taco Bell create this new menu?

This new $1 menu from Taco Bell comes in response to an announcement from McDonalds in previous weeks stating a possible new expansion of its menu. Taco Bell, owned by Yum! Brands also offer customers great deals on burritos and tacos for only a dollar, as well as mini cinnamon buns.

Records show how breakfast menus have been a hugely popular addition to fast food companies in recent years. Considering many of the customers wake up early to go to work, on-the-go customers account for a significant percentage of breakfast sales nationwide.

The breakfast options also draw in more customers that not necessarily go regularly to fast food chains as they prefer healthier options like eggs and bread over morning staples like cereal.

“The introduction of the $1 Morning Value Menu shows the brand’s dedication to disrupt America’s breakfast routines by presenting classic breakfast flavors with a twist,” said Taco Bell on the press release. “All at a price fans will go crazy for.”
