Mass Effect: Andromeda is supposed to continue where Mass Effect 3 ended, taking place in the Andromeda Galaxy.  In 2015, EA Games revealed a trailer in a press conference and the expectations got even higher.

Breaking the bad (or good) news?

In March, however, EA Games stated in a conference the release date was delayed and now Mass Effect: Andromeda will go live on 2017. Aaryn Flynn, BioWare’s manager posted on the Mass Effect series website the announcement too.

“As we’ve been playing the game at the studio recently, it’s showing us that we’re taking the game in the right direction. But we also know we need the right amount of time to make sure we deliver everything the game can be and should be – that’s our commitment from all of us to all of you. Because of that, Mass Effect: Andromeda will now ship in early 2017”

Despite what one could believe, fans all over the world were not dissapointed or upset. On the contrary, most game-players have shown in their social networks and community blogs that they completely understand the delay. They even backed up the developers on this one if this change of release date will mean a better game.
