Katt Williams, the beloved comedian, was recently caught on video getting into a brawl with a teenager in an apartment complex in Gainesville, and he’s been charged with disorderly conduct and bond violation, according to Gainesville police officials. Williams was filmed as he began fighting a teenager on Tuesday at the Melrose Apartments on Davis Street.

The comedian has been identified thanks to a video circulating on social media, and as fighting videos often do, it got viral in a matter of hours. Witnesses claim the comedian was having fun with the people while they were playing soccer as he even joined in the game. Unfortunately for Williams, one teenager didn’t grow fond of him as they started insulting each other while playing soccer, as shown in the video.

Besides of what started the fight, Williams later made a statement claiming he thought the teenager was 19 years old because they were on campus. The teenager involved in the fight against the comedian was identified as Luke Walsh, a 17-year old student. According to witnesses of the fight between the teenager and Williams, the 44-year old should have known better than getting into a brawl with a kid, yet Walsh also provoked him to fight.

Now, Katt Williams could face serious issues with the law for punching a 17-year-old, regardless of who started the fight. In the video, authorities could identify Williams as he throws a left hook at Walsh. Afterwards, Walsh who is also a former high school wrestler tackles Williams to the ground as he engages in a close struggle.

Katt Williams’ Downfall

Captain Kevin Holbroke from the Gainesville police department blames the incident on both Williams and Walsh, as they both should’ve known better. Holbroke also confirmed that because the latest charges violate the conditions of Williams’ bond on prior charges, the entertainer could have his bond revoked.

Regrettably for the comedian Katt Williams, this is but the last of his long lists of altercations with the law. Lately, the comedian was charged with aggravated assault last month and was released on a $60,000 bail on March 9.

Gainesville Police officials said Williams was also arrested almost two months ago for allegedly punching a store clerk on Dawsonville Highway. Hopefully for Katt Williams, this incident could mark deep bottom for him to better himself as time goes by.
