Sunday is Father’s Day, and it is always hard to find a special place to celebrate and especially what to choose as a present. Patch Deal Hound made a list solving this problem, and now you can choose from 13 items to be wrapped as a gift to your father. The website also has some recommendations about where to go with your dad if you are in Rohnert Park, Point Pleasant, and Anne Arundel County.
The first item on Patch’s list is a Weber smoker which is affordable and a great option to get to your father. A George Foreman Camp and Tailgate Grill is another item that could be perfect for your beloved dad.
If your father is a golf fan, Patch suggests the Calloway’s golf watch that has over 30,000 courses. With this watch, your dad will be able to keep his score and to measure the distance to the hole. For the office man, an Apple watch could be handy, and if your dad is a traditional one, an elegant watch will be just perfect.
Among the Patch’s list, there are Crocs, Polo shoes, BBQ gloves, Bluetooth headphones, a Kindle Fire, Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses, a Bluetooth speaker and the game Cards Against Humanity.

There are two stories regarding the origin of this date. The first one says that Sonora Dodd found unreasonable that fathers did not have a special day as mothers did. She started a campaign and the day was officially recognized.
The second story says that after a mine explosion that killed more than 360 men, Grace Golden Clayton proposed the idea of a special day to allow children to remember their fathers.
Both stories are believed to be the origin of this day, but none of them is official.
Americans, British, Japanese and others celebrate Father’s Day every third Sunday of June, each year.
But not every country celebrates it the same day. In Italy is celebrated on 19 March and in Ukraine Father’s Day is on the third Sunday of September.
