The retro-futuristic game BioShock: The Collection, has been rated in Brazil for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One as well as for PC. The Brazil Advisory Rating Board was in charge of the ratings and it may lead to the first time these games appear on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

There have been several rumors in the past that hinted at a complete remaster of the BioShock trilogy, however, fans had their suspicions confirmed when the Brazil Advisory Rating Board published its game listing. Last year, in September 2015 a retailer from South Africa made the listing public, although the game developers never confirmed it.

While the listing was a rumor a year ago, it seems that BioShock: The Collection will now be released not only for current gen consoles, as it will be released for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. This wouldn’t be the first time for 2K Games to create a complete remaster of a series. ‘The Handsome Collection’ from Borderlands was re-launched last year for both current generation consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

While 2K Games has not officially declared the collection to be in progress at the time, the bundle would consist of BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite in one complete package. It’s uncertain whether the gaming company will add any DLC packages to the collection. Considering that BioShock 2 was the only game created outside of Irrational Games studio, the chances for the game to be included in the collection are diminished.

The BioShock Premise

In a retro-futuristic world, the player begins as the survivor of a plane crash that ends up in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. After getting out of the plane, there’s a small island with a lighthouse on it, and as players swim towards the island they find a type of elevator inside. However, it’s not an actual elevator, as it transport players to a secret underwater city called Rapture.

Rapture is where the game will take place and is the focus of the story behind the game. The City is the place where mad scientist can go to perform illegal experiments as well as another type of non-ethical activities. In fact, a mad scientist, to the gamers’ surprise, builds Rapture and is also responsible for the Little Sisters.

The Little Sisters, created by the mad scientist who builds The City, are a genetic experiment that doubles as the city’s guard and plasmids collectors. The game has an interesting feature, as it develops according to what players can accomplish. And the ending of the game depends on the player’s interaction with the Little Sisters.
