The First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS) will be appearing on Wednesday in James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke. The information had been announced back in June, but fans are reacting to the new teaser.

First Lady, Michelle Obama, and James Corden will be singing along to the famous “Single Ladies” song by Beyoncé and other songs, while they drive around Washington, according to the teaser shared by Corden’s show. The recorded section takes place in Washington DC, during the teaser the British host is seen entering the White House in the vehicle he uses for the show. The First Lady enters the car smiling with a red and white dress.

Lady Obama explained how she heard the British star was in town and wanted to spend time together.

As they drive around, FLOTUS explained to Corden how she doesn’t get to sit in the passenger’s seat of a car that often. Remembering the last time, was when one of her daughters was learning to drive.

The First lady is seen asking Corden if she can ‘play some music’ since she rarely gets to ‘rock out’ like that in the car anymore.  In the back of the footage, Missy Elliot’s “Get your Freak On,” can be heard. After the footage announces Lady Obama’s presence on the Corden show, the British star and the First Lady of the nation are seen dancing to the popular “Single Ladies song”. Both Corden and Obama are performing the classic dance move.

The section was previously teased by the First Lady on her recently acquired Snapchat, showing Corden and her together. Fans realized that might mean a collaboration between the host and the first lady, and then Corden confirm the news via Twitter.

From Adele to Elton John, Stevie Wonder and much more have been Corden’s co-pilot. In one section of the show, Corden managed to steal Jennifer Lopez’ phone and text Academy-award-winner Leonardo Dicaprio to ‘hang out’ later to which he answered affirmatively.

The First Lady of the United States is not new in the TV world, she has made several appearances in the most known TV talk shows, such as the Ellen Degeneres show, Oprah, and in TV shows such as Parks and Recreation’s, Jesse, Lil Bub’s Big Show, etc.

The footage will be released on The Late Late Show with James Corden on the 20th of July.
