New rumors about the upcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone Plus say the devices will bring Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). In addition, the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 will be equipped with laser autofocus and the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus will have a dual-camera and 256GB of internal memory.

Recently, an image of the iPhone 7 was leaked. The image shows just the back of the upcoming device, which won’t have a completely metal design: plastic strips are placed both top and bottom edges of the smartphone so the antenna signal can get through. The smaller iPhone 7 will bring antenna bands that take the form of a single strip that goes from the bottom to the top edges of the device.

Sony was supposed to supply the dual camera systems for the new iPhone 7 Plus, but an earthquake caused serious damages in the company’s production facility in Kumamoto back in April. In consequence, Sony has experienced delays when delivering Apple’s orders. In order to make up for the inconvenients, Apple now asked LG to supply the dual camera systems.

According to the reports, the rumor of the dual-camera have been running for a while since images of two lenses on the back of the smartphone placed one next to each other were leaked.

The latest reports point to the fact that the smallest iPhone 7 will be the first model offering OIS, with which users will be able to take high quality photos and videos, even in low-light environments the performance of the camera will be improved. This changes also include a faster auto focus, meaning that the camera will have a better perception of the distance to the subject.

More rumors around the upcoming iPhone 7

According to The Times of India, the iPhone 7 won’t bring a headphone jack, but it will have a unibody metal glass, fater Touch ID, high battery capacity, coupled with an A10 chip, and a complete waterproof design.

Other rumors talk about a noise-canceling microphone for the iPhone 7. In addition to a smart connector for the premium variant of the device. If it’s truth that the iPhone 7 will feature a smart connector, it will mean that users will be able to connect to an Apple smart keyboard.

Apparently, there is a possibility for the company to release a 5-inch iPhone 7 that will bring iOS 10 in all variants, The Times of India reported. Also, the upcoming iPhone  7 is likely to have Apple Pay loaded by default.
