The plot’s background

Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Los Angeles Rams is said to capture the transitory experience of the NFL teams as they are the first team managed by coach Jeff Fisher to move from one city to another since 1977. It’s worth mentioning that coach Fisher made a reputation for himself back in the 70s. So its safe to assume he will be playing an important role within the next series from HBO. Over 80 people, including players, staff members, coaches and managers will have to relocate to California along with their families, all in place with the NFL playoffs.

Fisher ended the Hard Knocks’ trailer by letting his team know they were going to be part of something important. In addition, there was a great feeling of positive expectations in the trailer. Even though the trailer seems all-to-inspiring, there’s no light without darkness. HBO will surely bring plenty of plot-twists as well as tricky situations for the NFL players.

The series will look into the new lives of Rams’ team members, including promising rookies Todd Gurley. Notably, Gurley is expected to become one of the pillars of the Ram’s offensive game, and quarterback Jared Goff.

Coach Fisher added that he wants the team to be ‘football players, not actors’. The series will allow fans to take a look at the players and their new lives as they adapt to the frantic city of Los Angeles.
