California – Derek Jeter, a former New York Yankees player, married Hannah Davis, her longtime girlfriend, and model of Sports Illustrated. E! News confirmed that the couple tied the knot on Saturday evening in front of family and friends in California.
Jeter, who is 42 to years old married Hannah Davis in a romantic ceremony on a golf course at Meadowood Napa Valley Resort in St. Helena, California, on Saturday.
According to U.S. Magazine, Davis, 26, wore a high-neck gown custom-made by Vera Wang. Her hair was styled in a bun with a veil, and she carried a bouquet of white flowers. Jeter wore a black suit.
The wedding was kept as a secret to maintain privacy, and Fox Sports says that fewer than 100 guests attended to the love ceremony. Davis and Jeter invited friends and family. In Jeter’s list of guests, some of his team pals were included, and Davis asked some of her swimsuit model friends from Sports Illustrated, to be with her in the big day.
The ceremony began at 5 p.m PT and lasted 20 minutes. U.S. Weekly reports.
The couple started dating in 2012 after Jeter ended his 3-year relationship with actress Minka Kelly. Before Kelly, Jeter has been linked to Jordana Brewster, Vanessa Lachey, and Mariah Carey, says U.S. Magazine.

In 2015, Jeter proposed to Davis after 3 years of dating
The couple started dating in 2012 and after 3 years of relationship, Jeter proposed to Davis in October 2015. The engagement was known 1 month later because the former New York Yankees player used the word “fiancée” in a post on his website, according to U.S. Magazine. This is the first marriage for both.
Regarding their private life, the swimsuit model told Maxim in March that they have a part of their life that is a bit of a mystery to people, but that is how they wanted because it is the only way to protect it. In her view, if you do not talk about your relationship, your love life is safe.
Jeter and Davis are already a family of 3!
The couple owns an Italian Mastiff named Kane and it weighs more than 100 pounds. The dog was Christmas gift to Derek from Hannah, and he told The Players’ Tribune that he was a little unsure about the puppy at the start.
E! News reports that Derek had never owned a pet before but Hannah’s family had had Mastiffs growing up.
For Davis, family is important, and she told Maxim earlier this year that she wanted someone that considers his family a big, important part of his life.
Jeter told NBC News in 2014 that he wanted to have a family but stated that who knows when it is going to be.
