Captain Jeffrey Wenniger worked as security detail of Sir Elton John for about 12 years until September of 2014, and now he is accusing his ex-boss of sexual harassment.
Wenniger assures that the acclaimed singer used to throw sexually suggestive comments at him. Also, in a couple times, he tried to touch the security officer’s buttocks while being next to each other in John’s car. But that’s not all, according to the lawsuit; John did even twist Wenniger’s nipples once.
In the other hand, on Tuesday, Orin Snyder –an attorney for the singer’s Rocket Entertainment Group – made crystal clear his opinion about the lawsuit and the real intentions that, according to him, were behind Wenniger’s accusation:
“This baseless lawsuit is brought by a disgruntled former security officer seeking to extract an undeserved payment. These claims are patently untrue and contradicted by numerous previous statements made by this plaintiff. We will not give into his latest abuse of the legal system,” alleged Snyder.
This isn’t the only demand that Wenniger has between hands, he’s also suing a private company in which he was working off-duty by stating he was wrongly fired as part of the security detail of Sir Elton John.
Regarding this, Marla A Brown, Wenniger’s attorney, refused to explain why, taking into consideration the incidents that he alleged, her client would be seeking work.
