Red Hot Chili Peppers has announced that all their concerts are cancelled due to the hospitalization of the lead singer, Anthony Kiedis. The singer, who is 53 years old, is now in the hospital receiving treatment for stomachal and intestinal issues, as stated by the band on Sunday.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are in the musical industry since the 1980s and their particular musical style and tempo made them one of the most popular bands of the century. The Rock and Roll Hal of fame acknowledged the band in 2012 and they are, without any doubt, one of the most iconic Rock and Roll expressions in pop culture.

The lead singer is also co-founder of the band and it has been an important piece present throughout the entire history of the Rock and Roll iconic band. Although, this is not the first time Red Hot Chilli Peppers misses Kiedis in performances. In the past, some drug addictions made him skip several concerts whether he was intoxicated or hospitalized receiving treatments.

Embarrassing and sad

The Band stated that they were deeply sorry  for not being able to perform the promised show, but the clinical circumstances of their members are something that is not in their hands to handle and made the Red Hot Chilli Peppers unable to play.

The promise made by Chad Smith, a member of the band, was to be playing very soon while wishing the fast recovery of Kiedis.  It is expected his full recovery, but it won’t be soon enough to rearrange all the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ concerts for the upcoming days. The initial announcement was made in the stage on May 14, during a show in California that never started. People present at the concert immediately shared the news through social media.

The performances cancelled so far were the upcoming concerts for KROQ, a radio station in Los Angeles that organizes rock and roll sets in the State.
