Rise of Iron is the latest expansion pack of the Destiny franchise, and it had been highly awaited by fans of the video game. Xbox’s page had leaked some details about the game yesterday, but today an unofficial trailer was leaked via Snapchat.

The trailer went viral on social media and began being posted on different websites and youtube channels, even though is no longer available, gamers had the chance to get a glimpse at the newest expansion pack of the franchise.

A detailed leak

Before details of the game leaked online, Bungie had scheduled a live stream to explain the latest details that Rise of Iron will offer fans of the franchise. The company had accidentally published the release date of the game on Bungie’s website.

Xbox published on its website several details of the expansion that gave users a glimpse of how Destiny’s world would look like and how the game’s storyline would develop.

“Rise of Iron is the next highly anticipated expansion to the Destiny universe. The wall which stood for centuries along the southern border of Old Russia has collapsed. Fallen mutants now scavenge the tombs of the Golden Age, and the plague they have unearthed in the wastes is more dangerous than even they understand. Join Lord Saladin journey into the Plaguelands. Learn the fate of the Iron Lords,” reads the description published at Xbox.com,

Details of the newest innovations in the game were released on the website, such as a new story campaign, new armor, and gear, weapons, light increase, social space, new maps, and enemies, among others.

The most likely question to Destiny’s fans has also been answered. The Gjallarhorn weapon will be reintroduced to the game. This powerful rocket launcher that works by seeking heat has been considered as the game’s greater threat, yet wasn’t included in the second update of the fame.

The iron Gjallarhorn will only be available, according to the leaked trailer, for those users who pre-order the game. Destiny Rise of Iron will not be available for Xbox 360 and PS3, according to the trailer.

Rumors will be confirmed at Bungie’s live stream of the game.
