Yesterday, February 20, in Nashville, Tennessee, Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams married her longtime boyfriend, New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert at an intimate ceremony. The cute couple began dating in 2008 and got engaged in December 2014, on Christmas evening.

The ceremony was held at Nashville’s Franklin Theater, where the couple stood up on the stage and said “I do” in front of about 50 people among family and friends. The reception took place at a nearby restaurant named Puckett’s Grocery and Restaurant.

“It was an honor to help @yelyahwilliams & Chad Gilbert celebrate their wedding at Puckett’s. The love was flowing — if you’ve seen these two around town, you know what a joy they are! Cheers to love!” wrote Puckett’s at a post, as reported by The Daily News.

Williams wore a strapless chiffon wedding dress and Gilbert a dapper black suit. For the reception, the bride changed her dress for a more comfortable plaid skirt and a white T-shirt with “Chad” written in red.

A social media covered event

Photos and videos were posted by several fans on social media. They featured the couple happily sharing their first dance and eating their wedding cake.

Hopeless Records, which is Gilbert’s label, shared a photo of the couple leaving the restaurant later in the evening and wrote “Congratulations Chad & Hayley!!!”

The greatest wedding cake

The couple’s wedding cake was particularly special. It was made of three gigantic custard-filled donuts and had smaller versions of it at its surroundings that were customized with phrases such as: “You are so punk rock” and “I like your butt”

The cake also featured a topper of the bride and groom with their arms up.
