Twitter is currently testing a new feature

San Francisco, California – Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) is testing a new product for its social media. It is called “stickers” and if it gets to see the daylight, this product will let users add images to photos before posting them.

There is no much information on this yet because it is currently under testing. The company is seeking users’ opinions as a way to gather some feedback.

“We’re always researching potential new ways to make Twitter more expressive,” a spokesperson told Re/code.

According to a report by Re/Code, this product would let people overlap images on top of existing photos and according to Twitter it will come along with other interesting features, but nothing is sure yet.

It is not even sure whether the product will actually make it onto the official website and, if it does, it may be called something different. Even though “Stickers” is the most popular option, it is just one of various choices. The feature could end up being called “Taptags,” “#stamps,” or “Remix.”

What does sticker have to offer?

Generally, Stickers would let users add images to photos before tweeting them out, but Twitter says there is more than that. The feature might let people all edit the same photo and then it will let you see how other users from around the world have edited it.
Stickers will also suggest photos that you can edit and post to participate in trending conversations and breaking news.

It has been done before

Twitter is not the first company to offer this kind of product. Facebook, for instance, lets you add stickers to photos. Snapchat does it too. Users can add emojis to photos and videos that look a lot like stickers.
