Donald Trump attacked MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, calling the latter “off the wall, a neurotic and not very bright mess!”
Trump is known for dissing media correspondents who do not agree with his views. This is the second time he whips at a national TV female host, the first being Fox’s Megyn Kelly.
“Morning Joe” has had Donald Trump as a guest several times amid the GOP primaries, as the candidate even acknowledged Mika Brzezinski and Scarborough as his supporters.
Trump vs. ‘Morning Joe’
Monday’s controversy initially sparked from Trump’s Twitter account, as he reportedly tried watching the show in the morning, but just had to stop and lash at Scarborough and Brzezinski, calling them “clowns” and dissing their show as low-rated.
But Trump’s remarks also suggested that Scarborough and Brzezinski were having a romantic relationship, which sprouted rumors even if the hosting couple had denied so on previous occasions.
Joe Scarborough apparently has also taken his toll on Trump, as he called for the GOP to cease supporting the real estate mogul’s presidential campaign, This was mainly due to Trump not disavowing the support of a former KKK Grand Wizard, David Duke.
Scarborough and Brzezinski have steadily increased their disapproval of Donald Trump, while Scarborough went and published in early August a column on The Washington Post titled “The GOP must dump Trump.” There he goes over the many controversies that Trump has happily gone through since he started running for office. Scarborough categorically criticizes Trump’s fundamental views and deems him an unworthy presidential candidate, as he often lies and changes his stance as he sees fit.
The “Morning Joe” host also leaned on the fact that Trump suggested that Hillary Clinton should be assassinated and that Trump’s campaign supporters fought hard to try and divert attention from the claim. Trump allegedly wanted to rally supporters of the Second Amendment with that suggestion, but it just did not come out as a politically-correct statement, but rather an irrational call for division and a sample of demagoguery.
“A bloody line has been crossed that cannot be ignored. At long last, Donald Trump has left the Republican Party few options but to act decisively and get this political train wreck off the tracks before something terrible happens,” wrote Joe Scarborough in the Washington Post.
Trump’s latest insults come in contrast to what many have been calling the “New Trump,” as his new campaign manager Kellyanne Conway has been trying to improve the business person’s image. She assured that Trump would not continue to call names at media personalities, stating “he doesn’t hurl personal insults.”
On Sunday, Trump commented Donny Deutsch’s participation on “Morning Joe” a “big failure, nasty, irrelevant.”
As he proved wrong his campaign manager that he anointed just several days prior, it appears that Trump cannot possibly hold a centered and cool stance, but he prefers an unorthodox and radical approach in responding to anyone that may have something to say about him, often focusing on their mental capacity and reasoning ability.

Morning Joe show truly is a train wreck! Mika has always found a position thru patronage and is quite obtuse and Joe, well he is an egotistical bloviater.
