Guns N’ Roses announces 21-City North American tour

Guns N’ Roses will go on tour this summer. The band currently composed by Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan has confirmed that it will visit 21 cities in North America. However, more cities may be added to the list in the coming months. Venues and specific concert dates have not been announced yet.

The band will also perform at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 8 and 9. However, ticket prices for the gig appear to be expensive for some fans, since they can be acquired on StubHub from $1,075 to as high as $5600 for the April 8 show. On the other hand, tickets for Vivid Seats go from $933 to $15,000 for a “suite ticket”.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California is scheduled for April 16 and 23, when Guns N’ Roses will perform live. The festival is already sold out, but resale tickets can be obtained for around $400, according to Kerry Close from Time.

A tweet posted on January by Axl Rose, announcing the Coachella gig, has already received more than 25K retweets and 31K likes. However, a relevant segment of fans is asking for Izzy, who will not be touring alongside the rest of the band.

The list of cities was announced in a video published on Twitter by the band member @Slash, featuring the classic song “Patience”. The message has received great reception from fans, who have been waiting for a tour for years.

“@Slash I am so happy today I waited such a long time for you guys” Said John Agosta on Twitter when the band unveiled the list of cities. Guns N’ Roses is the rock band that has sold more albums in the music history, with more than 18 million units of “Appetite for Destruction”.
