Bernie Sanders backs Clinton after leaked audio

Bernie Sanders has raised his voice on Sunday to show support and brush off the criticism toward Hillary Clinton after an audiotape of her criticizing his young supporters was leaked Friday. The Vermont Senator said that she was right about what she said in that tape.

In the leaked audio tape, Clinton called Bernie’s supporters as “children of the Great Recession” saying they live in their parents’ basement. The tape was from democrat’s campaign back in February. Bernie said that though he was a little bothered by the comments of the Presidential candidate, she was right because young people have a great debt from education tuition and they can’t find a proper job that pays enough money to be debt-free.

“If you listen to the whole discussion that she had, a very important point that she made is that a lot of young people who went into debt, worked very hard to get a good education, can’t find a job commensurate to the education that they received,” said Sanders.

Tough the democrat-socialist senator has great differences with Clinton, they have united efforts in the presidential race to beat conservative candidate, Donald Trump.

Clinton continues to be hacked

It seems like the emails drama is not over yet. Now an audiotape, where Hillary Clinton criticizes Sanders’ politics and supporters, has been leaked. It was first posted by the conservative Washington Free Beacon on Friday. It was hacked from a staffer’s email.

“If you’re feeling like you’re consigned to, you know, being a barista, or you know, some other job that doesn’t pay a lot, and doesn’t have some other ladder of opportunity attached to it, then the idea that maybe, just maybe, you could be part of a political revolution is pretty appealing. I think we all should be really understanding of that,” said Clinton in the 49-minute audiotape.

Certainly, this would increase rejection towards Hillary from Bernie’s supporters. However, Bernie has helped to avoid this by saying he agrees with her since they are still living in their parents’ basements because they don’t have good job opportunities.

He also acknowledged they still have differences in their policies, though, Hillary has made a great effort to include Bernie’s proposals in her campaign such a plan to increase access to health care.

Hillary needs the young vote to win elections

According to a Quinnipiac University poll published on September 14, 55% of people between 18 to 34, would be voting for Clinton compared to the 34% supporting Trump. However, this would be a decrease in Clinton’s acceptance since she has 64% of that vote on august according to the same poll.

Clinton has made a great effort to gain support from the young population. She was helped by Bernie most recently at the University of New Hampshire last week, promoting a hybrid free-tuition and debt-free college affordability plan.

Nonetheless, though Bernie’s efforts to reduce criticism about the audio, this could certainly affect Hillary in the upcoming elections.

Clinton’s campaign manager, Robby Mook invited people to listen to the full audio explaining that if people do, they would understand she was talking about young people she’s met who are frustrated about their future after they are graduated from college since they find themselves in an environment where they are not able to find the job they want.

Even Obama has pronounced about the issue stating that people don’t give Hillary enough credit for her actions, saying that maybe it is because America has never elected a woman as president.
