Bermuda Triangle’s mysteries exposed

Recent data has provided scientists at the Arctic University of Norway with information indicating a scientific explanation for the disappearance of several ships and airplanes over the years in what’s called The Bermuda Triangle. Researchers discovered much giant water craters beneath the ocean floor off the coast of Norway, and the cause for these craters may be huge explosions of methane bubbles.

he findings have brought large amounts of attention as researchers claim the craters are so massive, they can measure up to half a mile wide and reach over 30 meters deep. This could represent a plausible explanation for the disappearance of ships in this area because the methane bubbles popping beneath the ocean floor can be the reason of shipwrecks.

Although high-performance radars to better study the ocean floor are still being developed, researchers assure that giant craters exist on the seafloor in an area in the west-central Barents Sea. The group of researchers involved in the study adds that these craters are probably what are causing enormous blowouts of methane bubbles.

A zone located between the Bermuda Island, Puerto Rico’s city of San Juan and Miami, Florida determines the Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil’s Triangle. This ‘twilight’ zone has been credited of causing hundreds of ships to sink and airplanes to go missing, with no possible recovery of any wreckage, as there is none to find. The Bermuda Triangle has been attracting people’s attention since it first mentioned the mysterious site on a pulp magazine from back in 1964.

One answer creates two more questions

Nevertheless, the debates questioning the ‘paranormal’ activity reported in the Devil’s Triangle has been gaining more and more credibility as new data supports a scientific explanation for the phenomenon. And there’s a phenomenon occurring in the triangle indeed, regardless of what’s actually causing ships to sink without leaving a trace and airplanes to go missing without ever finding a passenger.

One of the oldest explanations for the amount of shipwrecks happening in the site is the high traffic of ships that passes through this region, as it’s one of the busiest crossroads in the world. However, this theory doesn’t explain why any of the shipwrecks are found after the crash or what happens to the passengers on board.

The theory stating that methane gas bubbles rising to the surface are the cause for ships to sink, could also explain why shipwrecks are never found. Given that methane produces a massive explosion when interacting with jet fuel, it could explain why vessels are almost never recovered, as they would be completely destroyed thanks to the powerful explosion.
