Ubisoft will release in September a singing karaoke-style game called Just Sing. It will be available for Xbox One and PS4, as announced by the company in a new game trailer. This edition will include features such as lip sync challenges, more than 40 new songs, and incorporation with smartphone’s microphone and cameras to enjoy a multiplatform experience.

Ubisoft Entertainment SA, a French company dedicated to the gaming industry with over 10,000 workers, exists since 1986 when a French family, the Guillemots, decided to found an entertainment software enterprise specialized in game publishing services. The company initially worked with Electronic Arts, Sierra OnLine and MicroProse as distribution centers.

In 1993 Ubisoft ranked as the biggest distributor in the video game industry in France and started exporting titles to the rest of Europe and the United States. Currently, the company is the producer of different brands in the gaming industry such as Assassin’s Creed, Rayman and, Prince of Persia, being among the top five video games publishers in the world.

Just Sing

A free app available for iOS and Android will allow players to capture music videos and share content linked to the game, just by connecting their smartphones to the same Wi-Fi network used by their console. The game will work with Kinect for Xbox One and the PlayStation Camera.

Just Sing will now allow users to create shareable videos with up to 3 friends. They can add filters, animated backgrounds, and themes, as they perform a song on the game. Videos can be saved on multiple devices.

No extra purchases will be needed to fully enjoy the new features that can be very attractive to audiences who don’t want to pay extra charges for acquiring certain songs.

The game comes with the cooperative and competitive modes. The first will include the Party mode, where players can record a group lip-sync performance. The second will include the Battle mode, where players must go into rounds to determine who gets higher scores.
