The American singer and songwriter, Gwen Stefani, announced Monday a new tour called “This is what the truth feels like”. The Grammy-awarded rapper Eve will be the special guest of the concert series, that start on July 12, at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts.

The good news was announced through Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, causing a massive reaction of excitement among fans of both singers. By Monday morning, the posts had collected more than 40 thousand likes in social media, just in one hour.

Gwen Stefani and Eve had previously collaborated in 2001 when the rapper received the inaugural Grammy Award for Best Rap collaboration for the song “Let Me Blow Ya Mind”, which peaked number two on Billboard Hot 100.

In 2004, both singers decided to collaborate again with the production of Dr. Dre. The result was the hit “Rich Girl”, which was certified gold in the United States and received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Collaboration.

“SO excited for the #ThisIsWhatTheTruthFeelsLikeTOUR with EVE!!,” said Gwen Stefani in a social media campaign, that has generated thousands of comments from fans requesting a worldwide tour.

A month ago, Gwen Stefani released her third studio album called “This Is What the Truth Feels Like”. The new piece was inspired by the end of her marriage and the emotions that she felt during that time. Music critics have described it as “honest, vulnerable and nature”.

Just after her new album was published, it peaked the number one place on the Billboard 200 chart, becoming the first number-one album of the singer as a solo artist.
