The MTV Movie Awards 2016 were celebrated Saturday night on the Warner Bros backlot in Burbank, California, and the winner was announced before the official edited-down version that will run tonight at 8 P.M on MTV.

MTV decided to change strategy and left behind the drama linked to who’s going home with a statue, they hope that the audience will tune for the spectacle of the awards itself, or maybe they think people would want to know what were the hosts, Kevin Hart and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, up to during the show.
