Soundcloud, the online audio platform, has launched its new ad-free streaming application that will allow users to enjoy over 125 million track offline.

Over the last decade online music has grown to become one of the world’s biggest markets, millions of users go online everyday to listen to well established artists around the world.

Even though free music streaming services exists, companies such as Spotify and Apple have taken over the streaming industry with 30 million and 10 million users respectively.

SoundCloud’s new paid streaming service called SoundCloud Go has been launched to its users.it is available only in the United States, the application allows users to listen to the 125 million track database without an internet connection, the amount of tracks available is about four times more than other paid music services.

Since the creation of the Berlin-based company in 2007, there has been a series of betterings in the platforms. SoundCloud introduced first paid services for artists in 2008 and with the launch of SoundCloud Go, users will be offered an advertisement free application.

SoundCloud Go, will also give artists the option to choose whether to give out tracks for free or reserve those tracks for paying customers.The company is expecting to be distinguished by the variety of tracks and music available.

“Users will be able to listen to a Rihanna next to an emerging artist,next to a DJ set, next to a mashup in the same playlist. It’s new for the world” Said Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Eric Wahlforss in a statement.

Users are offer a 30- day free trial before the $9.99 monthly investment.
