Sony is trying to take back its status as one of the big ones in the smartphone industry. Since 2008, when Sony launched its first Xperia generation, the company has tried to be the best on the market. It released the Xperia Z5, and its 5.5-inch 4K resolution display is right now unbeatable. As well, the technology used by Sony allows the Xperia Z5 premium to reach an ultra-sharp 806PPI.

Sony Xperia Performance

Before it was rebranded in 2012 as Sony Xperia, Sony phones were the known Sony Ericson. The first smartphone launched by Sony was the Sony Xperia X1, being the first generation of Xperia smartphones, and by that time it was the best phone on the market. Now with the Sony Xperia Z5 premium, Sony is offering to its customers the best experience, it has a dual scale that captures photos and video in a 4K quality. The phone can be connected to the Sony TV so that people can enjoy 4K videos.

It also includes a fingerprint sensor in the screen lock button that allows the phone just to be used by the owner. One of the best things of the Xperia Z5 is its long lasting battery life since we can watch videos, capture the world and talk to friends without charging the phone in a two-day period. As well, its quick charger will charge the phone in about ten minutes.

About the price, rumor has it will cost around $500 and $650. Although, some sources claim it might be higher than $650. Image Credit: Sony Mobile

The Sony Xperia and Android 7.0 Nougat

Sony is attempting to revive its Beta Program, which has been very inactive lately, to include the Android 7.0 Nougat version–near to be released- in the Sony Xperia smartphones. Currently, the Beta Program is only available to the Xperia Z3, Z5 and other Z ranges of the Xperia phones.

But it is going to be introduced in the Xperia X performance. Sadly, not everyone will be able to test the new Android Nougat version for the Xperia X, since the Beta Program app is currently just available for European Countries.
