Last Thursday, Orlando Bloom decided to switch his Instagram account from private to public, allowing fans all over the world to take a look at his private photo and video collection posted on that social network after more than a year of keeping his profile private, only to be seen by the users he personally approved.
What changed Orlando’s opinion about his privacy in Instagram? That something we don’t know, what is certain is that the American 39-year-old actor has surprised fans after keeping his profile in Instagram and snaps private for more than a year. Now we can see Orlando sharing pictures of vacations with his current girlfriend, the superstar Katy Perry, and his five-year-old son, who he had with supermodel Miranda Kerr after a relationship that ended up in 2013. Even Kerr posted a comment soon after Orlando’s account went public by writing: “Nice one!”
Orlando’s excellent sense of humor after naked photos
Now that Orlando has made public his profile, we are going to be able to see posts about his adventures in Italy or France alongside Katy Perry. But everybody remembers when the internet almost collapsed after the Pirate of the Caribbean star was shot entirely naked astride a paddleboard behind Perry. Media published the pixelated picture of Bloom’s penis. But people around the world Googled to see the actual picture.
Though the image of a naked Bloom paddling his girlfriend under the Sardinian sun spread around the world in seconds, it appears like the actor didn’t seem intimidated, angry or bothered at all about the situation. The result was quite the opposite, and now he is posting on Instagram photos related to the event.
He recently added a sex tape photo to make fun of the whole situation. Literally the photo shows a tape where it is written “sex.” Maybe Orlando has a great sense of humor, or maybe he is just trying to look for a little more publicity to be the center of attention. Even other stars, such as Seth Rogen, have commented on the naked photos by saying:
“I think the philosophy might be: ‘It’s a competitive market, I’m Orlando Bloom, I’ve been great for years but you know what, there are all these new kids out there, maybe I gotta show my d*** to make people remember Orlando Blooms is a f***ing OG,” said Rogen.
Orlando goes blonde on Instagram
Furthermore, Orlando used his now public account to post a picture of him with dyed blonde hair last Friday as a flashback for his fans to those days when he was playing Legolas in the Lord of the Rings. On the photo we can see a blonde version of Bloom on a small pink bike with the following caption: “back to blond…rolling to set…”
This post might make us believe that he has just dyed his hair for a new role. Currently, the actor is filming “Tour de Force” a comedy documentary alongside Actor Andy Sandberg in China. Other posts include sweet pics of Flynn, his son, his visits to various charity missions in Serbia and Ukraine as a part of Bloom’s duties as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
