O.J. Simpson has allegedly agreed to take a paternity test to verify if Khloé Kardashian is his daughter. Doubts about her father have come to light before. Nonetheless, he has accepted to do it if Khloé agrees to visit him in prison personally, at Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada. He is currently serving a sentence for charges of armed robbery and kidnapping, after being a suspect in his wife’s murder investigation.

The test consists of only a mouth swab and, according to a former correctional officer at the facility the former sports star is restrained in, the prison authorities have given their permission for this to happen, and even for him to know the results.

“She has to go there and talk to him. He wants her to come out to Lovelock and visit him in person,” Jeffery, the guard, explained. “It’s just a quick mouth swab, and they would allow it to happen during a visit.”

Apparently “he wants to talk to her about some other things too, but more importantly like her he intends to know if she is his daughter,” because there has been speculation over this issue over the years. Most recently, it was mentioned in a documentary about the Kardashians’ father Robert, aired just last week, called ‘The Man Who Saved O.J. Simpson’.

Khloe, who is now 31 years old, was the third child born to Kris Jenner while she was married to Robert, who was very close friends with Simpson, and who died in 2003. It has been a public concern if she was adopted or conceived by another man since she did not look like her sisters: she was much taller, had lighter hair, and even resembled OJ’s daughter Sydney. Kris has denied this, claiming that, at the time she was born, she looked like Robert’s mother.

Even Robert’s other wives have made ‘overwhelming’ comments about the subject, which has been discussed since 2009, starting in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

It also came to light in 2011, in Kris Jenner’s memoir, that she had admittedly been unfaithful to Robert during their marriage, but not naming the sports star specifically. In 2012, Robert’s last wife, Ellen Pierson, claimed that Robert himself admitted to her that Khloe was not his biological daughter, and this claim was supported by his second wife as well.

Kris has not made any comments on the matter of the paternity test. By demanding her visit in person, he wants her ‘to show a little respect,’ after allegedly begging him to help her. The DNA sample taken from his mouth will determine if they are truly related. She has dealt with claims about the lawyer, Robert, not being her real father. It seems that both of them want to put this matter aside and set it to rest, so taking the test will finally clear all doubts about their relationship.
