The Nintendo NX seems to be a unique console to be used in the living room and on the street, featuring old Nintendo gems and mobile games. Recent leaks of a handheld device are making fans excited about the idea of playing titles on a portable console. The website Eurogamer has been releasing leaks about the upcoming Nintendo console. However, the website has not revealed its source to the public.
Nintendo NX promised to be the most versatile console of the company, but it will not be as powerful as the PS4 or the Xbox One because the NX system will be based on Nvidia’s Tegra mobile technology.instead of the IBM PowerPC that was used in the last three consoles. The Nvidia Tegra Mobile CPU will give the NX enough processing power to make its place in the market, but it will not allow competing graphically.
The reasons to use Tegra chips seems to be to balance graphical requirements with power efficiency. Regarding the theories of the new console combining mobile games, it is believed that the Nintendo NX will have its smartphone titles exclusively develop for it.
The Wall Street Journal reported in 2015 that Nintendo Co. began to distribute a software development kit for the NX platform to modify existing games for the platform or create new ones.
In that same year, in July, Square Enix Co. stated that it had plans to develop the latest version of its popular role-playing game Dragon Quest for the NX. The Nintendo NX version would be called Dragon Quest XI and will also be available for the Nintendo 3DS and the PlayStation 4.
Others games for the Nintendo NX could include the mobile version of Pokemon Go, Miitomo, and new titles like Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem according to Value Walk. Back in 2015, a Nintendo spokesperson said that in 2016 would be released the NX details but it is almost August and people only knows detail about the new console through leaks and rumors.

The mysterious Nintendo NX and it detachable controls.
It is believed that the console will have a touchscreen device with detachable controllers to make it a gaming device to use both at home and outside. According to Eurogamer, the Nintendo NX will have two removable controls that fit on either side of the console.
They can be reattached when the users want to change environments. The unknown console seems to include the option to be connected to a television via a docking station to be played inside the house as the Nintendo Wii. Despite all the leaks and rumors, the exact shape of the NX hardware is not clear yet. But fan hopes to hear the official announcements at the end of this year.

The person leading the Nintendo NX project is Mr. Tatsumi Kimishima, a former banker that assumed the post in September 2015 after Nintendo’s former president, Mr. Satoru Iwata, died in July. Kimishima worked closely with Saturo as a top executive for Nintendo.
Before his death Iwata partnered with DeNA Co. to use Nintendo’s mobile games character in Universal Parks & Resorts and Mr. Kimishima will continue to carry this project as well.
