According to Entertainment Today, Janet Jackson may be pregnant with her first baby. The rumors about the pregnancy exist since the singer decided to cancel her World Tour in order to take a break with her husband, Wissam Al Mana, to “plan her family,” as revealed on her twitter account through a video. Some family members of Janet allegedly confirmed the news.

The raincheck on the tour was a sudden change since it was already being held, and considering this, Jackson apologized to her fans and asked them to be patient. According to Jackson, it’s her time to rest because her doctor ordered it. The promise is to not forget about the tour and to continue it as soon as possible.

First-time mom

This would be Janet Jackson’s first baby, and the controversy has aroused because she is almost 50 years old, while her husband, an entrepreneur from Qatar, is 41. They got married secretly  in 2012, and it was Janet’s third marriage.

Jackson is being questioned by the press since 2008 about when she would have a baby. Her answer was always that “it would happen someday” and maybe that day has finally come.

An anonymous source told Page Six that doctors told Jackson that at her age it would be dangerous and almost impossible to guarantee a healthy pregnancy if she tried to conceive with the traditional way. The rumour is that they went to fertility treatments.

Janet is Unbreakable

This may be great news for Janet Jackson’s family and personal life, but it is still on hold how this will affect her musical career. The Unbreakable World Tour is the seventh concert tour by Jackson and was produced to promote her 2015 album with the same name. She presented the show all over the United States, Canada and held a concert in Japan and Dubai.

The show included the performance of the entire setlist of the Unbreakable album, as well as numerous classic songs. Her fans are waiting both for the baby’s news as well as the tour’s news.
