United States President Barack Obama has shared his Spotify playlists, which include artists such as Jay-Z, Jannelle Monae, and Sara Bareilles. Two playlists for daytime and nighttime collect up to 39 songs sporting the presidential seal of approval.

According to the White House, the list was hand-picked by the President himself. Obama selected many artists that have performed at the locale. Many were surprised that the president did not include any of Beyoncé’s songs. The summer playlist is only available on Spotify. Beyoncé’s latest album Lemonade is only available on Tidal, a competing streaming service. Beyoncé did appear on last year’s nighttime playlist with Superpower, a track from her 2013 album Beyoncé.

Songs for the most powerful man in the western hemisphere

The Obamas are not shy when sharing their music tastes. This is also true for the first daughter Malia, who was allegedly captured at this year’s Lollapalooza smoking either a cigarette or a joint. The footage was taken by 18-year-old Jerrdin Selwyn, who stated that Malia was smoking a joint.

People proceeded to flood Jerrdin’s Instagram page with snake and rat emojis, expressing their disgust for “ratting” on the President’s daughter. Chris Brown also took the time to defend her and to divert attention towards “the substance TRUMP be on.”

According to previous statements, President Obama did smoke weed when he was young, but he has already told his daughters that it is a waste of time and may be hazardous to their health.

It appears that not even the President is able to stop his young daughter from toking up at one of the largest music festivals in the country. The President has stated that he also smoked cigarettes when he was younger.
