Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister in the HBO series Game of Thrones, has said that the relationship between her character and Jaime Lannister is about to hit “all-time weird level” in the upcoming new season of the popular series.

Headey also assured that this sixth season may probably be the most interesting one for the dethroned queen, a character that has landed the actress an Emmy nomination, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

“She really has nothing to lose and she has everything to gain from the horrible position she finds herself in,” she said.

A darker row for those characters may mean a lot knowing some of their past actions like, throwing a child from a window or the fact that they are both brother and sister who had three children, but probably there may be room for improvement.

Book-fans worries

The premium-cable upcoming season has also many fans worrying that due to the fact that the series has run out of material from George R.R. Martin’s books, the events from this season forward will spoil them whatever Martin has secretly planned in the pending book.

However, Game of Throne’s producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss said they actually have a lot less to be worried than they might think. Even though the producers actually met with Martin a long time ago to find out what the author has planned for the upcoming book, their final work may have some significant differences that will avoid spoilers to book-fans.

There will be some similarities among the stories according to Benioff and Weiss, but a lot of that is to come on the TV series will be very different from the books, which means fans are not going to know when reading the books what is the same and what will be different.

“People are going to be very surprised when they read the books after the show. They are quite divergent in so many respects for the remainder of the show,” the producers said to Entertainment Weekly.
