Bobby Brown was mounted by a ghost

In 1982, Bobby Brown and some friends performed for a talent contest at the Strand Theater. Although they did not win the contest that night, a local music producer put an eye on them and helped them get their first album. For his first hit “Candy Girl”, he said to have received $500, which he spent on a motorcycle.

Though he was voted out of the group in 1985, he reached success with his solo album “Don’t Be Cruel” released in 1988. “My Prerogative” and “Every Little Step” launched five top ten on the Billboard Hot 100. These two songs became Bobby’s signature as well as his life full of dancing, drugs, and women.

Bobby, who has claimed to have slept with Janet Jackson and Madonna, told Roberts that he was once mounted by a ghost while living in a mansion in Georgia. He told Roberts that this big house he had bought, back then, was a scary place and that  “he was not high or tripping” when the supernatural event happened.

How did Brown meet Whitney Houston?

“She was bumping into me at Soul Train,” Brown said when he revealed that he met Houston at the 1989 Soul train Awards. “I was like, ‘You keep bumping into me.’ And I kept doing that. And I did it like two or three times, and she kept bumping me. And I asked her why, and she was like, ‘Because I want to.’ And that attitude, that whole thing right there … that’s the way it started.”

The couple got married in an extravagant 1992 backyard ceremony at Houston’s mansion in New Jersey. Brown stated that he was deeply in love with her and that he thinks that he will always keep that feeling because Houston was the only person who knew him.

Brown also revealed that the first time he saw Houston doing cocaine was on their wedding day. He explains that she even offered him a hit, but he refused. He denies being the one who started Houston’s drug habits, as well as having exposed their daughter, Bobbie Kristina Brown, to see them doing hard drugs.

Although Houston used to do drugs, Brown confessed that they did not affect her because she knew how to handle herself.

Brown implicates Nick Gordon in the loss of his daughter and ex-wife

Regarding the loss of his daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and his former wife Whitney Houston, in the interview, Bobby Brown made references to the similarities of both deaths and implicates Nick Gordon without saying his name. He stated that what happened to Whitney happened to his daughter and that the only person who was around on both occasions knows what happened. In this case, Gordon.

“It’s not a mystery to me. The same thing that happened to my daughter is what happened to Whitney … There’s only one person that was around both occasions, only one person who says they were there to protect them … and he didn’t,” Brown said.

Whitney Houston died in February 2012, shortly after being found unconscious in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Although cocaine was found in her system, her death was the result of an accidental drowning. Three years later, her daughter Bobbi Kristina was also found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Georgia mansion in January 2015. She remained in a coma for six months, but her dad, Bobby Brown decided to take her off life support in July 2015. A mix of drugs was found in her system according to toxicology reports.

Bobby Brown is a family man

After divorcing Whitney Houston, Brown started a relationship with his current wife and manager, Alicia Etheredge-Brown. The couple married in June 2012, in Hawaii. Alicia told Roberts that Bobby is a man who has feelings and emotions. She said that Bobby is a man that “struggles like everybody else.” He has been through good days and bad days, but he has a “really strong faith”. She says that she has been learning to be supportive since she lives with someone who has fought so many addictions.

Even though Brown admitted he does not do drugs anymore; he is still battling his problems with alcohol. Alicia Etheredge-Brown and Bobby Brown have two children, and a third child is on the way.
