Cupertino, California – Apple, Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) is a company well known for its meticulous designing and for spending large amounts of time on their product’s images. The Apple brand is easily recognized by customers, with elegance and simplicity present in every detail. In order to assure that these features will stay permanent, Apple will start selling their official Apple Watch lugs via a third party company that will follow its instructions for manufacturing.

These lugs, manufactured and distributed by Avnet, have to follow Apple’s official design guidelines, involving all the stages and details of the production such as materials, durability, and functionality.

Special instructions showing how to install each lug will be provided by Avnet, adding one of the company’s screwdriver to complete the install. Also, all of them will come with the phrase “Made for Apple Watch” printed on.

When it comes to prices, Avnet is selling Apple Watch lugs in sets of 25 or 200 in both 38mm and 42mm, with prices ranging between $278.75 and $1,866.00 per package and between $9.18 and $11.33 per individual set, according to Mac Rumours.

Nevertheless, this won’t stop the production of unauthorized watch bands, that are already placed in the market, making themselves a room offering lower prices.

Apple is expected to continue to make further plans to work side-by-side with third-party accessory makers. The highly-recognizable brand features from Apple like the white color and simple fonts are expected to be part on the product.
